GEO Tez is a first headlines news channel of Pakistan powered by Geo Network, broadcasting in Urdu Language. It broadcast headlines after every fifteen minutes. The channel has replaced now a defunct Geo English news channel.
Metro One is a news channel based in Pakistan The station is located at Mezzanine Floor, Mashriq Center, Sir Shah Suleman Road, Gulshan-e-iqbal, Karachi. The channel provides news in Urdu
regarding Karachi, Lahore, Quetta, Islamabad and Peshawar. It is
considered by many a private 24-hour a day news network and streams from
various web servers.
Dawn News was Pakistan's 24-hour Urdu news channel. Based in Karachi,
the station is a subsidiary of Pakistan Herald Publications Limited
(PHPL), Pakistan's largest English-language media group. The test
transmission of the station occurred on May 25, 2007, and the channel
went live on July 23, 2007. On May 15, 2010, Dawn News converted
into an Urdu news channel after successful test transmission of four
hours a day. The conversion is mainly due to its financial crisis and
thin viewership in the country. Now Express 24/7
replaced it as the Pakistan's only English news channel for a brief
time, which was also then shut down by Express Media Group for financial
reasons. Dawn News' Test Transmission was launched by former President of Pakistan, Pervez Musharraf. The complete launch of the channel coincided with the result of the Supreme Court case which cleared the Chief Justice Iftikhar Chaudhry,
who had been suspended by General Musharraf. The channel was initially
housed in Haroon House, the head-office of PHPL, but later moved to its
current premises in West Wharf, Karachi.
Express News is an Urdu language Pakistani television news channel Based in Lahore, launched on January 1, 2008. It is owned and run by the country's third largest Urdu daily, Daily Express. The owners of the channel, Lakson Group, launched 'Express 24/7', a 24-hour Pakistani English news channel on February 5, 2009 .
Express Media Group had launched their entertainment channel Express Entertainment on 1 January 2012. EMG is now launching new channel named Hero Tv, an infotainment channel, from 5 June 2012.

Dunya News is an Urdu language news and Current Affairs television channel from Pakistani
The channel is governed and operated by National Communication services
(SMC) Pvt. Ltd. Its head office is situated at Lahore, Pakistan. Since
its launch in 2008, the channel have been giving strong competition to
the other news channels in the country. Dunya News is now available
throughout Pakistan on local cable operators.
Geo News is a Karachi-based Pakistani news channel, owned
andoperated by Jang Group. The channel started its broadcasting in November 2005 and has millions of Urdu-language viewers around the world.

PTV News (formerly PTV World) is a 24-hour state news channel in Pakistan. It provides news in English and Urdu to the Pakistani
community worldwide. It also provides News in
Arabic/Sindhi/Gujrati/Pashto/Kashmiri/Gojri/Balti/Shena. As the only
Government News channel of Pakistan, its reports are generally favorable
towards the current government, so because of this many people
criticize its unfair news reporting.
